Nitram Charcoal for sale in Asia!

Piplatchka is very proud to announce that we are the first retailer of Nitram Académie Fusains Charcoal based in Asia!

I have to admit my love for Nitram after being introduced to them at the Florence Academy of Art in 2013. The quality and fineness of their charcoals makes Nitram a joy to use, as is the ability to sharpen each baton into a fine tip, creating intricate lines and a wide variety of values.

You can read more about Nitram Charcoals on their website, the history of Nitram by Daniel Gros, and the story of how Nitram was revived by Jerzy Niedojadlo in 2011. You can also see my works using Nitram Charcoals on my blog.

After returning to Singapore, the difficulties of purchasing the medium in this part of the world became much apparent, and the lack of knowledge for high quality charcoal was frustrating. Out of personal love and separation withdrawals, it was fine time to bring Nitram charcoals to Singapore and share it with fellow artists in this region!

I've finally had some time to update this page, and would like to direct everyone to the new commerce site to purchase these Nitram Charcoals: Purchase here!!!

And a final note...

Piplatchka is mostly run by a single creature,
which means the process of stocking, packing, writing, and delivering
each little package to the post office is done manually, and with lots of love.
We seek your patience and kindness on those occasional,
 strange, hiccup days.

Thank you so very much!
